Prof. Dhimitri Qirjo

Dr. Dhimitri Qirjo joined the faculty of the Economics and Finance Department in the School of Business and Economics at SUNY Plattsburgh in fall of 2012. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Economics from Florida International University and a M.S. in Economics from Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Qirjo worked as a teaching and research fellow in the Vancouver School of Economics at University of British Columbia during 2010-2012 academic years. His articles have been published in B.E. Journal of Economic Analysis & Policy, IZA Journal of Migration, Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship and others. Dr. Qirjo’s research interests lie in the intersection of international trade and labor economics, and the intersection of international trade and environmental economics.
